We finally took a ride on the Citycat ferry!

21st April 2008

Today, daddy and mummy brought us to the city. We wanted to go there by bus, but we later had a change of plan and chose to try out the Citycat ferry instead. My teacher once said that it is faster than to go by bus (especially during busy hours) so we decided to give it a try. And what do you know, it really is fast! The bonus... we get to enjoy the view along the Brisbane river... and here are some pictures that daddy took...

Waiting for the ferry to arrive... We were very anxious but very excited!

(Below): Views along Brisbane river... It's beautiful!

We arrived at the city at the North Quay ferry station. Once there, we took some pictures as well...

Picking halal Indian food to buy... we ended up buying Butter chicken with rice, and pappadom as well... Yummy!

This picture is dedicated especially for my beloved aunt, wawa JAY... We were taking picture in front of a shop that sells lots of knitting stuff. This shop takes up two floors in the shopping centre.

After lunch, we took a bus to Chinatown in Valley to buy some halal meat and fresh seafood. Mummy managed to take our picture with daddy on board the bus. We also took some pictures in Chinatown.
