In the morning today, we had a very special breakfast menu.. Kelupis by nini bini. It's our traditional food comprising of glutinous rice and coconut milk, and nini bini made two versions; plain and with 'tahai sambal' filling. Only one thing missing... we don't have the usual nyirik leaves, so nini bini rolled them up in aluminium foil instead.
Then, we went for a visit to auntie Lina's house and we brought for her some Kelupis as well as mummy's strawberry cheesecake. Another fellow Bruneian joined us, and she gave Safiya a belated birthday present... Wow, another gift, again! Lucky Safiya! Thanks auntie [Sabrina] for the presents, and thanks also to the hosts; auntie Lina, auntie Widya and baby Ryan!
