At last. after months of imagining, we finally get a close look at the famous animals of Australia: koalas, kangaroos, wombats, kookaburras and lots more. It's sad though that nini bini didn't come along.. Perhaps she's concerned about her knee pain since we had to do lots of walking at the Lone Pine Sanctuary. Next time though, we'll make sure nini bini comes along!

Meet Damien, a 7 year old koala.. the fur is thick and soft, no wonder they are cuddly!
