After about half a month here in Brisbane during this winter season, it became apparent to us that our tiled floor can be very cold especially during early mornings and at nights. Mummy has been thinking of covering the floor with a carpet or rug, but I guess there are issues of transporting it home, and maintenance is also a concern.
Today, we all went to Toowong Village to do some shopping and sight-seeing, and mummy was happy to find an alternative for the floor cover. We ended up buying beautiful bamboo floor mats, which costs around AU$30 for a medium size, and AU$10 for a small size. Each floor mat is packed in individual zipper bag, and that makes storage and handling easy. The bonus: it's brown in colour, as daddy likes it! No more cold floors anymore!
