Last Sunday which also happened to be mummy's birthday, we woke up early and headed for nini's house to help her out with her catering order for a wedding that same day.
However, the morning became a slightly scary moment when mummy and daddy noticed that Safiya's upper lip was swollen. Being a first experience for them, both mummy and daddy were worried and didn't really know what had happened. Daddy then applied glycerine to Safiya's lips hoping that the swelling would subside. He also applied ice to help reduce the swelling further and thankfully, just before noon the effort seemed to work.

More good news now that after two days, Safiya's lip is healed and the worry is over. Still, we always keep a look out just in case it comes back (hopefully not). Until now we haven't figured out what's the exact cause, but mummy remembered that just before going to bed, Safiya was pulling a dry patch on her upper lip and perhaps that has caused an irritation.
