On our second day in Gold Coast last Monday, we visited another famous Gold Coast theme park; Sea World. The park (bigger than Movie World) offers entertainment for the whole family, and provides opportunity to see lots of marine animals in person. The ones that attract our attention the most are the dolphins, sea lions, sharks and penguins. In addition to that, we also had the chance to see a polar bear, viewed both in normal as well as underwater view, where we watched the playful polar bear swimming and having fun. For water ski fans, Sea World is the place to watch the skiers in action! There are also monorails and cable cars, and if these are not enough to enjoy the view, visitors always have the option to take a helicopter ride!
For kids, the Sesame Street beach has lots of fun rides, and Safiya and I had a blast playing at the water splash. Ohh, and how can we forget the chance to meet Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Zoe, Ernie and Bert? Hehehe... and of course, Sea World will not be complete without its famous water park! So, any of you wanting to go there, don't forget your swimming suits!
