4 September 2008 (Part II)
In the afternoon today, we hosted a small 'tahlil' (prayer recitations for the departed) and 'iftar' (breaking the fast) ceremony. Since it was the first time we ever invite guests to our home, we decided to invite a few persons only... and who better to invite than our own neighbours? Six of them came, all Malaysians, and we ended having a great dinner together.
As usual, nini bini is the cook, and mummy was in charge with the preparations. It's a buffet style dinner, and we put the food in three separate places, one for the main course, one for appetizers, and another for drinks and dessert.

These are our guests.. They also brought a dish; 'chicken sambal'. Clearly one of them is a great cook because it's delicious!
